Our set prep enabling and re-instatement services also ensure your cast and crew can easily access and leave any outdoor location exactly as you found it.

Based in the North of England, we offer competitive prices and an efficient, friendly service with a can-do approach. This has led us to being commissioned by numerous high-profile productions, including War of the Worlds, World on Fire, Peaky Blinders, Gentleman Jack, Victoria to name a few.

Our Services

Landscape Construction & Set dressing

We create landscapes and provide rural props for feature films, TV productions and corporate events. On-site and from our in-house workshop and sawmill, we can construct almost any Film & TV structure you need. From giant craters to World War 2 bunkers we have the creative minds and skills to make it happen quickly and within budget.

Greenery and rural props

When you’re looking for natural scenery and set dressing, we can supply you with an extensive range of bespoke plants, foliage and rural props We also supply anything and everything when it comes to timber, when War of the Worlds requested fire damaged woodland we got busy in the workshop and created a burnt forest on site, quickly and within budget.

Set Prep

Wainwright’s are often the first on site enabling your cast and crew to comfortably and safely access any outdoor location, and then the last to leave, re-instating your location to exactly how you found it. We have worked with a number of Sites of Special Scientific Interests and National Nature Reserves building strong relationships with Reserve Managers for future filming.

With over 20 years of experience working with large, privately-owned woodlands including the National Trust and the Forestry Commission, we also know how to work with trees and forests for film and TV projects, working with location managers and site owners to work with the site in the most natural and authentic way

Proud to be working with

I have worked with Richard and Alex on the BBC production of “War of the Worlds” Their expertise and enthusiasm was absolutely invaluable. I can completely recommend them and would hope to use them again on future productions.

Pat CampbellProduction Manager

I would be happy to recommend Alex and Richard. They were immensely helpful, able to act quickly, solve problems and react to change which is so important in this industry.
